Week 3: Promise

Before Adam and Eve even leave the garden, God already gives them a promise. In Genesis 3:15, He tell them that from Eve someone will come who will one day crush the head of the snake. The Snake Crusher will come to make all things right again.

Review questions: 

  1. What is a promise? Promise: a special agreement or vow to definitely do (or not do) something. It is a “for sure”. When you promise, you are saying it will happen, no excuses.

  2. What promise did God make to Adam & Eve after they disobeyed? Someone would come who would crush the head of the snake.

  3. How did God keep this promise? He would send His son Jesus to die on the cross and defeat the snake!

  2. How do you think Adam and Eve felt when they heard this promise of a Snake Crusher?

  3. If God was faithful to keep this promise, will He keeps His promises to us?
