Week 11

Week 11: Red Sea/ Wilderness

Tonight, learned about the Red Sea & Wilderness.

The Israelites were slaves in Egypt for over 400 years! We know that some remembered God and prayed that He would deliver them.

God did hear their prayers and came up with a plan to save them!

Moses—the man who ran away from Egypt—would be the one God would use to save these people. I bet the Israelites would have never guessed that this would be the man to help save them. God would give Moses powerful signs to impress Pharaoh but Pharaoh wouldn’t be impressed at all. God would send 10 plagues.

Each plague was meant to make the gods and goddesses of Egypt look small and the real God of Israel look big. God would then bring His people out in a really big way!
